HOW TO SAVE

We truly believe our charter bus rentals are the most affordable group transportation. Even so, there are certainly ways to make sure you are getting the most for your money. Check out some tips below on how to save on your next bus rental and contact us with any questions.

Book As Early As Possible

There are many benefits to booking early. It can ensure you get exactly the vehicle you need and it can also save you money. We understand that sometimes trips are last minute, and that’s okay, we are happy to help. But just like booking vacations and plane tickets, the earlier you book your bus rental, the better pricing you will receive.

Choose The Best Bus For Your Group

Despite what many think, the number of seats is not the only thing that differentiates one bus from another, and not all types of buses are ideal for every group. Sure, a luxury bus rental may be nice, but is it truly what your group needs for this specific trip? We don’t want to just sell you on the most expensive bus to make as much money as possible, we want you to get exactly what you need.

Fill As Many Seats As You Can

We have bus rentals that range anywhere from 20 seats to 56 seats and the best way to drive down your cost per person is to fill as many seats as you can. Even with a full bus, you will still have plenty of room for luggage and moving around.

Advice
WAYS TO SAVE

If in your searches you find a quote that is MUCH lower than anything else you find, be weary. Remember that while saving money is important, getting to your destination safely is the most important task at hand. It is an unfortunate, but common, for very small bus companies (that often only exist for a couple of years) to operate at very low prices by cutting corners in insurance and maintenance. DO NOT make the mistake of booking with these pseudo-companies, as when things go wrong, you become the liable one.

Follow these simple rules when booking to help eliminate non-legitimate bus companies:

  1. Ask who owns the buses you are renting.

There are a lot of bus brokers out there, meaning they play middle man between you and the charter company. This means that

  • They don’t own the buses, so you really don’t know what kind of bus will show up the day of the trip.
  • The company you booked with (the broker) and the company that picks you up (the real bus company) are not one and the same. If something goes wrong, you will have a difficult time getting any sort of reimbursement for your trouble.
  • The brokers have to make money…the bus companies have to make money, and you, the customer, end up paying both. Definitely beware of bus brokers!!
  1.  Ask to see their maintenance facility.

This question will weed out those who lie on question number one, and will also weed out those companies that don’t maintain their buses properly. And remember, just because you ask doesn’t mean you have to do it- but the response you get when you ask will tell you a lot about how legitimately the company operates.
