Attridge Coach Lines is seeking Full Time Motorcoach Operator/Bus Drivers for our Burlington & Toronto locations. Our uniformed operators are fully certified, each holding an Ontario Classified Driver’s Licence, with a passenger and air brake endorsement. The licencing process requires that each driver meet a standard set by the Ministry of Transportation, including a defensive Driving Program, a strict medical and a comprehensive written and driving test.

We are currently looking to fill driver positions with passionate and experienced individuals.

Qualifications

• Ontario Drivers B class license with a Z (air brake) endorsement
• A customer service oriented approach and a positive attitude
• Eligible to work and drive commercial vehicles in Canada and the US
• Comfortable with email and have the ability to learn new software systems
• Strong attention to detail and follow through
• Must be available for all shifts as scheduled
• Shifts may include working nights, weekends and statutory holidays
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to receive, send, process and print emails
• Own a cellular telephone capable of conducting call in Canada and the US
• Able to thrive in a fast paced, minimally supervised, flexible and changing environment
• Possess a valid passport
• Candidate subject to Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Experience is an asset*

Duties are as follows but are not limited to:

• Drive specified routes to specified destinations according to the charter order
• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspection at commencement and termination of day
• Fuel and maintain cleanliness of the coach
• Complete DVIR reports daily
• Inspect coach/fill out all required reports and paperwork
• Review, understand and comply with corporate policies and procedures
• Comply with all applicable legislative requirements
• Comply with traffic rules and regulations
• Assist passengers and provide a high level of customer service
• Demonstrate high standards of conduct and ethics as well as appropriate judgment, independence and discretion
• Represent Attridge Coach Lines in a positive, professional manner at all times
